Job Title: Receiving Lead

Department: Logistics Department

Reports to: Logistics Manager

Supervises: Receiving Forklift Drivers and Temporary Employees

Back Up: Logistics Manager / Logistics Coordinator

FLSA: Non Exempt

Job Summary:

The general purpose of this position is to supervise and document all materials received and assure they are stored in an accurate, efficient, safe, and high-quality manner.

Principal Duties, Qualifications and Requirements

1) Must be a skilled forklift driver following all safety rules.

2) Must be able to read, write and speak English.

3) Must have good math skills.

4) Must be self-motivated.

5) Must be able to work with minimum or no supervision.

6) Must have good leadership and interpersonal skills.

7) Must have good communication skills.

8) Must be dependable.

9) Must be trustworthy.

10) Must be able to start early and stay late if asked to do so.

11) Must be able to follow instructions.

12) Must be very organized and responsible for own actions.

13) Will work hand in hand with all other departments.

14) Will be responsible for documenting all materials received in accordance with receiving policy guidelines.

15) Maintain files of incoming and outgoing shipments

16) Properly input released material into GP

17) Mark the released inbound materials for inventory

18) Prepare Non-Conformity and Damage Reports

19) Monitoring and managing stock levels

20) Ability to maintain high work standards and concern for the quality of work

21) Will be responsible for keeping warehouse clean and neat.

22) Must follow all safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required.

23) Must follow proper quality and sanitation procedures and standards.

24) Must be a team player and exhibit good attendance.

25) Must adhere to all Vita policies and procedures, including GMP, Safety, and Clean as You Go policies

26) Will perform all other duties assigned by Logistics Manager and all other departmental managers.

27) At least 2 years’ experience in S/R and Microsoft Skills

28) Able to use PC/Tablet/Print labels

Logistics Manager, Logistics, Shipping Employees, Production Managers and Leads, QC Department, Maintenance Department, and all other employees when necessary.
